JONAH KOSLEN (Lead Vocals/Guitar/Songwriter) has been creatively active in the music business since 1973 as a composer, producer and performer. His successful run began with the Michael Stanley Band, where he contributed to the writing and recording of some of the band's most loved songs, including “Waste a Little Time On Me”, “Strike UpThe Band”, “Nothing's Gonna Change My Mind”, and “Ladies Choice”. In addition to his songwriting duties, Jonah contributed lead guitar, lead vocals and arrangements to three albums and numerous compilations. The song “Nothing'sGonna Change My Mind” charted in the summer of 1977.
Jonah's solo work includes two solo albums, 1978's “Back Tracks” and 2001's "Mirrors and Windows" . Two albums with Breathless, for EMI America, "Breathless" (which featured the hits “Takin' It Back” (which charted in 1979), “Glued to the Radio”, and “Walk Right In”) and "Nobody Leaves This Song Alive" (which includes "Hearts in Hiding" and “Wild Weekend”). The Breathless greatest hits collection is available for download (Vinyl) and on CD from Line Level Music (Jonah Koslen and Breathless 1979 - 1981).
Between 1982 and 1984 with Jonah Koslen and the Heroes recorded two albums “Aces” and “Orange” and the recently released compilation "Secret Origins".
Jonah relocated to Los Angeles in the summer of 1984. While in L. A., Jonah kept busy, recording demos with 80's teen star Tiffany, appearing at Farm Aid II with blues legend Bonnie Bramlett and the Bandaloo Doctors in the late '80s (subsequently writing and recording several songs, including "Damaged", for an episode of the TV show "Fame" in which Bonnie appeared), as well as working and recording with Aerosmith guitarist Jimmy Crespo, Guns and Roses guitarist Gilby Clark, and appearing on a live television broadcast with Wayne Newton. He also composed music for various films, and composed and produced an album for the rock band Skin Diver in 1990.
Soon after that, he reunited with Michael Stanley to help write and produce the Ghost Poets CD. Jonah returned to Ohio in 1998. He released his One Man Island Band, island influenced "Telling on Myself" CD in 2008. In 2009, Jonah brought the much-loved "Stage Pass Now" to the concert stage. Jonah continued to document his long and productive career in 2010, by using his www.jonah.com.co website to make available several song collections, that have never been available to the public before. These include "The Terminal Tower" (a rock opera), "Mercedes Bends" (the CD by Skin Diver), The Bandaloo Doctors (featuring Bonnie Bramlett) and several upcoming releases ("Back Tracks", "Mirrors and Windows", "M-80's", "Jonah Koslen, Live Greatest Hits", and more).
